An opportunity has arisen for the position of Customer Service Representative in Toronto, Ontario (in office)

 

Our client is an established but expanding retail design firm that is looking to add a new member to its Customer Service Representative team in Toronto, Ontario. This individual should be someone who is passionate about their profession and has a strong work ethic. The squad is comprised of individuals who are bold, outgoing, and confident, and the ability to mesh well within the group is essential to the success of one’s campaign. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an hour for lunch, would be the schedule for this job opening for a Senior Customer Service Representative that is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent in Toronto, Ontario. This is an in-office position at a location that either offers free parking or is easily accessible by TTC bus — the Lakeshore/Carlaw neighbourhood.

 

  • The job description for the Customer Service Representative position in Toronto, Ontario may include, but is not limited to the following potential responsibilities:
  • Provide information on product and service offerings while making suggestions based on their individual business needs
  • Handle inbound calls and web/email inquiries in an efficient and professional manner
  • Perform outbound calls to follow up with clients and update them on order status including shipping updates
  • Document all calls in their ERP system as well as update information such as addresses, additions/removals, new customer purchases, etc.
  • Work with the design team on general customer outreach.

  • Taking orders and processing them; maintaining track of the entire process, from beginning to end, and providing the client with updates, all while assuring complete and total customer satisfaction
  • Providing relief reception coverage during breaks and vacations (shared support); this includes intermittent meet and greets
  • Providing additional help as it is requested

 

There is a job opening for a Senior Customer Service Representative in Toronto, Ontario, and some of the essential qualifications and experience for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Exceptional English communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with ERP / CRMs required
  • Ability to think on your feet and with an enthusiastic and positive approach; confident
  • Dynamic drive to have successful calls on a consistent basis; this includes being highly organised with strong follow through and follow up focus
  • Someone with a confidence and level of expertise in the field of customer service
  • At least three years of business-related customer service experience
  • Confidence and expertise in the field of customer service
